Ascension Day

The New Testament tells us that Jesus spent 40 days on earth after his resurrection on Easter Sunday morning, so today marks Ascension Thursday, when many Christians will celebrate the physical ascension of the resurrected Jesus Christ from earth to the right hand of God in Heaven.
